Christmas Time is hands down the best time to visit New York City! The decorated Christmas trees, holiday window displays, lights, shows and events everywhere attract even the tourist adverse. Every December we pick a weekend to go to the best Christmas sightseeing in New York, like the Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building or walking down 5th avenue, Times Square and Central Park among other places. We love it so much that is has become one of our Christmas traditions. Even just walking everywhere in Manhattan and looking at the window displays and Christmas lights while enojoying a cup of hot coffee and eating a cupcake is good enough for us. It never gets old as we always end up finding a new favorite place that we add to our list of places to go next Christmas.
There is one restaurant that is a cut above the rest we like to go every December called Rolf’s that is well known for its holiday decorations. The decor of this place is so amazing. I have never seen so many Christmas decorations in one place in my life! It makes you feel so festive amidst the holiday with cocktails, beers and food St. Nicholas himself would approve. The best part is that they take so much time and effort decorating inside the restaurant that they have the decorations on display until the end of May.
This weekend also happened to be SantaCon, so we saw a lot of groups dressed in Santa Claus costumes. Thus the Christmas Spirit was definitely in the air. I am glad that I had this red and blue scarf and hat on to add a little color to my outfit. Hope everyone is enjoying the Holidays as much as I am.
